Eppig Brewing Oktoberfest

Eppig Brewing Company is located adjacent to Point Loma Seafood, and overlooks America’s Cup Harbor. This weekend, 23-25 September 2022, they are celebrating Oktoberfest, complete with a large tent decked out in Bavaria’s blue-and-white colors, communal tables to sit at, staff dressed in lederhosen and dirndls, and beer available in one-litre mugs (ein Maß) which you can purchase.

Their beer list tends more towards the European lager, Kolsch, and pilsner style beers. Their list also includes a few IPAs and stouts. Food was available from the Mastiff Sausage Company food truck, which was there for this weekend. You could get brats, fries, Bavarian soft pretzels, and strudel.

Virtually all of the seating is outdoors, either on their patio or at the railing overlooking the boats in the harbor. (Quite the different view from what you would see at Munich’s Oktoberfest!) Shade is provided in some locations by patio umbrellas, but you may find yourself out in the open.

Even without their Oktoberfest celebration this weekend, Eppig Brewing is a good place to just hangout near the water and enjoy a cold beer.
